I love to shoot temple exits! I love the anticipation of friends and family waiting outside to see the bride and groom! A lot of the time if the bride and groom have me come to the temple to do exit pictures there isn’t a formal exit like you see at other weddings (bubbles, streamers, sparklers, etc). This fairytale horse and carriage temple exit was one of my favorites. They were able to come out of the temple and see all their family. We got all the family pictures done. And then the carriage showed up (as a suprise to them both!) and off they went to live happily ever… Keep Reading
Richmond Family Pictures | The Petersens
Richmond family pictures. I found my new favorite spot in Richmond, UT. It takes a little bit of walking, but once you get to the spot it’s magical! The grass is so tall, and in the fall turns to a golden color. My favorite part about this location is the trees. They are thick, gorgeous, and change to brilliant colors in the fall! I was so happy to have this spot for the Petersens. They are an amazing family that needed an amazing location! Rachel used to model for RubyClaire Boutique, so we have had a lot of time together at photo-shoots. They live just down the street from me… Keep Reading
Fall Horse Pictures – Lowe Kids
I always love when I get to take pictures of this group of kids and their horses! Jill called my on the weekend wanting fall horse pictures with her kids. We had talked about it earlier in the year, but it had kinda slipped off both our radar. It happened that I had one opening the next week on Monday. It all turned out perfect, because the very next day a storm rolled through and blew off most of these pretty leaves!! First we did portraits with the kids and their horses. Even little Elsie got to join in and the horse shoot this year! After portraits I let the… Keep Reading
Favorite Location – Green Canyon
I get asked all the time about locations for photo shoots. Living in Utah, there are SO many options. There is something for everyone. Water (river, lake, pond, you name it), mountains, pine trees, rustic, barns, wheat fields, hay fields. I could go on and on. But if I had to just pick one location out of everywhere, it would be my favorite location – Green Canyon. It is seriously the gold mine of locations. It doesn’t really matter what time of year it is, you can count on it looking amazing. It has green trees in the winter so you get some color in your pictures. It’s up a… Keep Reading
Christmas Tree Mini Sessions!
You guys. I love Christmas (I know I know it’s not even Halloween yet……don’t hate me). Loooooooove. It is my favorite time of year! When I saw that Logan now has its very own Christmas Tree Farm, I knew mini session were a must. They are my dream pictures. There is something so magical about being in a Christmas Tree Farm! I don’t offer mini sessions very often, but I couldn’t resist. A few things I love about mini sessions: They are short. You don’t have to worry about kids getting tired and grumpy. Husbands love them (ok, love might be strong. But like them better than hour and a… Keep Reading
