A girl and her horse. There’s not a bond that I love to photograph more. When Shyann contacted me about taking her senior pictures this spring, and wanted to include her horse in them as well, I was so excited! Her horse, Bud, is a big, sweet, sorrel gelding. He had the most curious look the whole time, and almost always had his ear forward. Even when we let him eat his ears were up ready for pictures! Shyann competes in barrel racing with Bud in the Idaho High School Rodeo Association. This coming weekend is the Utah State University home rodeo! It is so fun to watch each year! Last year it rained, and rained, and rained and rained. Everything was a muddy soupy mess.
