Formals are one of my favorite sessions. The couple has typically done engagements with me already, and from the get-go are much less nervous about getting their picture taken. It’s so fun to see them again after editing, blogging, and posting them all over social media haha! You can see Baylee and Jake’s engagement session here. Another thing I love about formal sessions is that is takes so much pressure off of the wedding day! By getting your pictures done before hand, that is one less thing to worry about on wedding day. You will be taking a lot, and I mean a lot, of pictures with friends and family on… Keep Reading
Lyndsey | Logan Canyon Bridals
Today is the day that Lyndsey and Matt get married! Which means I get to share her gorgeous Logan Canyon bridals! After her bridal shower in Logan, we took advantage of her being in Logan and did her that night! It was windy and threatening rain, but we lucked out. We only got sprinkled on once, and the sun came out for us in the end. It was a perfect night! We started up Logan Canyon at Spring Hollow campground. Lyndsey wanted a woodsy look, and this spot was just getting green after the long winter, and was gorgeous! Our second location was at a apple orchard in Hyde Park…. Keep Reading
Shalie + Kasey | Idaho Photographer
Shalie and Kasey have been dating for about 2 years, and have know each other for about 5. They met each other through mutual friends, over time fell in love, and are getting married in June!! We went out to Kasey’s family property in Idaho for their engagements, and it was such a fun location! So many barns, sheds, old buildings, fields, rolling hills, silos, etc! I probably could have shot there for days! Sign me up to be an Idaho photographer!! Shalie and I went to school together, and it was so fun to see her again after all these years! Kasey is the nicest guy, and was… Keep Reading
Horse Photographer | Styled Shoot
I had the amazing opportunity this week to set up a styled shoot for 15 amazing photographers in northern Utah. Twice a month we get together and take turns planning and styling a shoot. It’s an opportunity for us to try new lenses, ask each other questions, learn from each other, and have a good time! I decided I would give them a little glimpse of what it’s like to be a horse photographer! Our location was the amazing Smith barn in Lewiston, UT. I styled three different shoots, all including horses, to go on at the same time. We broke into 3 smaller groups, and rotated through the different… Keep Reading
Favorites of 2016
As I am setting goals and gearing up for a busy 2017, I had to give a huge shoutout to all of my clients from 2016! Thank you for trusting me to capture your special memories. Thank you for supporting me in pursuing my dream! I’ve been looking back over each of my sessions in 2016 and feeling so incredibly blessed. I have the best clients who have overwhelmingly supported me. 2016 was my first “official” year in business. This was the year that I decided to dive in to my photography with all my heart. Many hours were spent online watching tutorials and learning how to use my camera to the… Keep Reading
