Rodeo Family Pictures | Wadsworth’s
I LOVE when I get to take pictures of this cute family! This is the first time we’ve done family pictures since Riata was born! Rodeo family pictures were a must for this family! Anytime we can include horses, we do! Wyatt and Riata have their mom and dads love for horses. Riata is only 18 months old, but when you put her on the horse she says “go, go go!”. The two buckskin horses, Chip and Pitzy, are the best kids horses! They took such good care of those two little kids and were on their best behavior! Rodeo Family Pictures | Wadsworth’s
Foaling Season! | Equine Project 52: Ears
I am finding it is hard to get and shoot every single week! Especially when it’s not a jobs that i’m meeting a client for! But it is already pushing me to think outside the box. When I first took these pictures, I had no intent on using them for the weekly project. But as I got thinking more about them, I realized they fit in perfect. Horses communicate so much with their ears. As an equine photographer, I’m always looking for ears forward. But when I took these, not once did those mama ears come forward to focus on me or anything else going on. Her ears stayed like… Keep Reading
Laketown Engagements | Kirsten + Dalton
Kirsten and Dalton’s pictures are some of my favorite! I took their Laketown engagements last summer. As I was driving into Laketown, I kept seeing gorgeous fields full of round bales (which I LOVE). I had been wanting to to pictures with round bales for forever. When I got to their house, I asked if they knew anyone who owned those fields. Turns out they did, and we ended their session in a gorgeous hay field! I love it when couples go with my creative ideas, but i also love it when the location means something to them! We started the session at a little shed at their home. This… Keep Reading
Ranch Engagements | Matt + Hayley
These ranch engagements were almost a year ago! So crazy how time flies! This was my first session after McCoy joined our family! We had planned on doing this session about a month earlier, but McCoy decided to join our family 3 weeks early (the day before we were scheduled to do pictures!). I think it ended up working out perfect. It gave things a little more time to get green and full of life after a long winter!
