I am SO blessed to be able to take pictures of horses. I always have a hard time picking one picture for National Day of the Horse, so this year i decided to pick a picture from each horse session! There are so many that I could have put here, but then my blog post would be never ending. So here are a few of my favs from the year! I am so blessed that so many people trust me to take pictures of their horses! Western Birthday Pictures | Tatum
Tatum is 4 years old. 4 years! Man does time fly. Birthday pictures this year were some of my favorites! I didn’t have to bribe him or anything, he was just as excited as I was to take them! We decided that western birthday pictures were a must this year, as we had just bought him his own little pony, Jello (she will have her own blog post later). I am so looking forward to this year with Tatum. He has matured SO much, and is so much fun to be around. He is kind, funny, loving, caring, energetic, smart and so many other things! Some of his favorite things… Keep Reading
Fairytale Horse and Carriage Temple Exit – Garrett + Maria
I love to shoot temple exits! I love the anticipation of friends and family waiting outside to see the bride and groom! A lot of the time if the bride and groom have me come to the temple to do exit pictures there isn’t a formal exit like you see at other weddings (bubbles, streamers, sparklers, etc). This fairytale horse and carriage temple exit was one of my favorites. They were able to come out of the temple and see all their family. We got all the family pictures done. And then the carriage showed up (as a suprise to them both!) and off they went to live happily ever… Keep Reading
Fall Horse Pictures – Lowe Kids
I always love when I get to take pictures of this group of kids and their horses! Jill called my on the weekend wanting fall horse pictures with her kids. We had talked about it earlier in the year, but it had kinda slipped off both our radar. It happened that I had one opening the next week on Monday. It all turned out perfect, because the very next day a storm rolled through and blew off most of these pretty leaves!! First we did portraits with the kids and their horses. Even little Elsie got to join in and the horse shoot this year! After portraits I let the… Keep Reading
Horse Bridals – Hayley
Horse Bridals. There is nothing better than a bride with her horse!! Hayley and her 2 year old friesian-quarter cross, Tazz, pulled off this session in only 20 minutes!! Because of all the fires burning the sky was so smokey and hazy, which meant we lost sunlight earlier than usual too. When we showed up to the ranch to start taking pictures the sun was already pretty low, so we knew we had to be fast! Hayley got into her dress in record time (there were so many buttons, I don’t know how they got them all done up so quickly!). Tazz was the perfect gentleman as we quickly… Keep Reading
