I’m going to go ahead and apologize now for the picture overload. This session was sooooo magical and I couldn’t help but share almost every shot from these horse winter bridals!! Brennan and I have been wanting to shoot together for over a year, and never actually got anything set up. When we were both free the weekend after her wedding I knew I had to jump on the opportunity. There was only two days to plan this shoot! I contacted my favorite hair and makeup girl in town, Tiffany Johnson, and was so excited that she was able to squeeze us into her busy schedule!
Finding a florist was a little more difficult. Lees Marketplace pulled through the morning of and created me the most amazing bouquet that fit perfectly into this winter wonderland shoot. The original plan was to do a bridal shoot with one of Brennan’s horses, but she had sent her horses home to Idaho after the USU Rodeo season had ended. I contacted my friend Kelsey and she so kindly let us borrow her gorgeous AQHA stud Waylon. He was such a good boy, stood perfectly for the pictures, and only tried to eat the bouquet a couple of times :).
After Brennan was done with hair and makeup we headed up Logan Canyon to Tony’s grove. I knew i wanted those gorgeous tall pine trees in the background, and was crossing my fingers for snow. When we turned off the highway I was a a little doubtful because we still hadn’t seen snow, but just before we got to the spot we started seeing skiffs and ended up with the perfect amount. I couldn’t have been happier with how the whole thing turned out!
