When you know from the beginning that you have met the one you will be with for forever you know that is true love, the kind of love that Nicole and Hadlee have. These two have known each other for a long time, as both their families run chariot horses at the same tracks in Wyoming. Not wanting a big ceremony, these two love birds got married under the Antler Arches in Jackson Hole Wyoming one weekend while they were there for a chariot race. It couldn’t have been a better fit for these two!
When Nicole contacted me about pictures, she let me choose the location. Her only request was that it included a barn or something rustic. I love finding new locations, and was so excited when I came across this dreamy secluded barn just off the riverbank in Benson. The light reflecting off the river was so soft and light, and we were so far back off the main road it was so quiet and peaceful it was like we were the only people for miles. This amazing barn, built in 1878 when the farm was settled, is part of the Muddy Road Outfitters, a pheasant farm down a long county lane in Benson.
One of my favorite things to photograph is the little details. These two had the best rings! I see a lot of different bride rings that are always so unique and beautiful, but I’ve never seen such a unique and personalized groom ring! Hadlee’s ring is made from elk antler, red coral, and ebony! Rogue Antler Arts made this amazing ring, and has so many other gorgeous rings available. I was so intrigued by his ring, and was happy he could pry it off his finger to get a couple shots of their rings together!
